It's getting tougher and tougher the work here. got my first taste of YARs in their territory(:
yes, tho it wasn't easy, it was very enjoyable. i was so nervous (i kinda i thought it would be tougher), thinking that i have to protect myself, but...nope they are like any ordinary kid, hungry for your attention; just that their means of getting it have been negatively reinforced. it makes me contemplative, in a way, that these kids may not have the chances or opportunities i have had. and like in my john piper devotion http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/onlinebooks/Bytitle/1593_Dont_Waste_Your_Life/that i just did a while ago, it made me remember that it is the LORD who gives and the LORD who takes away. BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD. that everything i have is not owed to me. it was graciously given by GOD, through the shedding of his blood. and that makes me more willing to use whatever resources GOD has given for his puposes and works. cos i know that all i have is not mine at all, but given by GOD to me. and thats the reason i will make full use of my talents: to be a good steward.

anyway, youth really comes but ONCE in a lifetime, and i don't want to waste my life.


its really interesting what i've been learning, that to have a single passion in life and to be prepared to live by it and die by it, that will leave a lasting impression in humanity. whether that passion is right or wrong, but if we go all out as though it is our ONE aim, ONE purpose for this ONE life, then we will forever be remembered by humanity. and wouldn't it be great if more of GOD's people leave a lasting impression for wanting to know him? instead of all the hitler's and what nots given their impressions, if every one of GOD's people choose to live life SOLELY to serve GOD, can you imagine what the extent of impact could be??(:


yes, and i really enjoy working with my co-workers. one of them just left for the army, but not before throwing a BBQ for the neighbourhood youth, where i met with 2 girls who are interested in further contact...and they just came today to play basketball:) pray that i will be a good testimony to them, that like salt and light, i will attract them to this way of life. for as we know, there is only TWO WAYS TO LIVE...

pray that as we interact with them they will open their hearts to GOD.
pray for me, for sustenance. i praise GOD that he has taken care of me, and thank you for your prayers and support. honestly, GOD works in wonderful ways that i cannot fathom and i thank you for being such a willing instrument in this work.
